1200 Class English Electric diesel (left) similar to East African Railways Class 90 diesel;  also reminiscent of East African Railways is the preserved QR Garratt (right).  But it is coal fired and runs on 3ft 6in gauge:  the EAR 60 Class garratt which it closely resembles was oil-fired and ran on metre track - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow
