Mkuze Game Reserve and Lake Jozini

 

After visiting the Game Reserve on the first day of our visit, on the second day we took a trip on the Lake Jozini and were then driven round Ghost Mountain en route back to Mkuze

This baboon was part of a large troop on either side of the road.  Game parks and reserves close at sunset and we came across these zebra as we made our way back to the gate - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow

Lake Jozini  Pongolapoort Dam

Preparing the next morning for a rough crossing of Lake Jozini formed by the Pongolapoort Dam.  Because of the conditions we were unable to get close inshore on the far side and consequently saw game only in the distance.  We were also unsuccessful in getting near the hippo - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow
