Train Number 03, the Southwest Chief, arrives Albuquerque for its 43 minute stop en route to Chicago from Los Angeles (above left).  While the tour passengers rode the train from Flagstaff to Albuquerque, the All Aboard America coach was driven empty from Flagstaff to meet its tour passengers from the train and take them to Albuquerque's Old Town - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow

The large diamondback rattlesnake (left) can grow up to 7 feet in length and this makes it a favourite in cowboy films.  But many of the species are much smaller, like this mojave rattlesnake (right) which is usually between two and four feet in length.  The Rattlesnake Museum boasts a live example of each type of rattlesnake, including the sidewinder which, on this occasion, refused to pose for a picture -  PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow

The Atomic Museum, Albuquerque is being redeveloped after its removal from Kirtland Air Force Base where it was established in 1969.  In 2008 none of its aircraft collection was on display - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow
