Salt Lake City is a sprawling city and it is not on the Lake. Arrival was in late afternoon and after a short visit to the Tabernacle and a walk up the hill to the Capitol it was time to go to check in at the hotel. The hotel was not in the city center and consequently we saw little of Salt Lake. The center is dominated by the Mormon Church complex (below) PHOTO Malcolm McCrow |
