Zion National Park

Red Canyon's Salt and Pepper Pots (right) en route from Ruby's Inn to Zion National Park . . .
. . . stopping off at Checkerboard Mountain, so called because of the pattern on its slopes.
Turning off Highway 89 entrance to the Park is gained through a tunnel on the Zion Mount Carmel Highway . . .
. . . sometimes you just have to be content filming through the coach window, as there is no place to stop.
Once you have descended into Zion  . . .
. . . your coach will let you off at designated dropping off points . . .
. . . to and from which shuttle buses operate as far as the Temple of Sinawava
But the rain and mist did not make for pleasant walking . . .
. . . and when it started to snow we headed back to Ruby's Inn through autumn snow showers - PHOTOs Malcolm McCrow
