Ahamed Brothers were the official school tailors where blazers could be made to measure for around shs120. Ahameds specialised in uniforms and safari kit and were also official tailors to, amongst others, East African Airways. In the late 50s they moved from their Hardinge Street shop which resembled a typical English county town outfitters of 1930s vintage to a modern characterless shop on a corner of Delamere Avenue. |
