New Grove Academy

The new school has been built to the north of the original Grove Academy and has completely replaced both the old and new extensions which have been demolished.  The above view is looking west along Camperdown Street which is completely blocked off to the general public. - PHOTO Malcolm McCrow

Grove Academy 1980s

Grove Academy in the mid 1980s - the hut in the left of the playground was the Library;  the hut next to it housed Modern Languages.  The janitor's old house had become the Music Department and new accommodation was provided for the janitors. PHOTO Sandy Gossip
