Chur is one of the oldest towns in Switzerland.

It makes an ideal base for travel.

Like so many
Continental cities, the transport system is fully integrated with the bus
station (above right) connected to the railway platforms by escalator.

But in April 2008, due to road works in the town
centre, a shuttle bus (above left) connected with the train on the
outskirts of town.

So there
was only this very short section of street running as the train set out for Arosa from
the RhB depot on the outskirts of town.

several destinations served by the RhB.
